Parts & Materials
- We supply and install only parts purchased directly through our company.
- Customer-supplied parts are not accepted unless explicitly approved in writing.
Deposits & Project Authorization
- Submission of a deposit constitutes authorization to proceed and confirms the customer’s agreement to all project details, terms, and policies outlined in the invoice and on this website.
- Once a deposit is received, parts may be ordered and work scheduled.
Invoicing & Payment Terms
- All invoices are due within five (5) business days unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Any unpaid balance after five (5) business days may be subject to a 1% of remaining balance per week late fee, unless otherwise approved in writing.
- We reserve the right to pause work, withhold delivery, or delay completion until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
Project Scope & Changes
- Approval of an invoice or submission of a deposit constitutes acceptance of the project scope, parts list, labor estimate, and timeline as outlined.
- Labor charges are estimates, calculated as accurately as possible based on information available at the time of estimate.
- During installation, unforeseen conditions may be discovered that were not visible or identifiable at the time of estimate. These conditions may require additional labor, parts, or materials and may be added to the invoice as necessary.
- We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed throughout the project if additional labor or costs arise, in order to avoid unexpected charges.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to wear, corrosion, deterioration, improper maintenance, poor workmanship, or improper installation performed by previous installers, manufacturers, or factories.
- Electrical, electronic, and mechanical components may fail, break, or become damaged during removal due to age, corrosion, material fatigue, or prior improper installation. These conditions are outside our control and are not the responsibility of Bayside Marine Electronics or Bayside RV Electrical.
- Any repairs or replacements required as a result of these conditions may result in additional charges.
Returns & Restocking
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Special-order items, installed components, and electrical/electronic parts are non-returnable.
- Labor charges are non-refundable.
